GaVS Physics B: Week 10 Update
18, 16, AND 14 week Spring 2017
This Week's Focus: Electromagnetic Waves
We will begin the week by taking our Sound Test and then spend the rest of the week studying EM Waves. This will help us prepare for our study of light and optics.
On Tuesday, March 14th @ 6:00 PM, we will have an Adobe session in my classroom. I will have time for you to ask questions in advance of our due date this Wednesday, March 15th.
Important Assignment Updates
Many of the websites we rely on for our virtual labs are run by outside organizations. This means that we are at their mercy if they decide to stop supporting or publishing their simulations. We have run into a problem with BOTH the Doppler Effect Virtual Lab (originally due 3/15) and the Color Virtual Lab (originally due 3/22). Simulations associated with both of these labs no longer work.
Therefore, these TWO labs will be EXEMPT in the grade book. You will see these changes IMMEDIATELY. The dropbox folders will still exist, but do not worry about submitting these labs. Thank you for your understanding.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me:

Test Reviews
Here's an example:
Original Test Score: 15/19 = 78.9%
Test Score with ELO Point Added: 16/19 = 84.2%
Not only did that one point bring up their grade over 5%, but they went from a C to a B on the test!
These reviews are also an excellent way to get an overview of the entire unit in 40-60 minutes.
Adobe Help Session
If you can't attend the session, the recording is posted IMMEDIATELY after the session.
