Caught Being a Leader
Victoria Lane is an outstanding teacher. She is always searching for ways to help her students grow to their fullest potential. Recently, she encouraged all of her students to participate in a district wide contest and one of her students won first place for North East. He then was able to compete at the city level and received a third place medal. What a wonderful opportunity for her students. Way to go Mrs. Lane.

Items should be kept 36 inches away from the air units, and no items shall block the air sensor at any time. Do not obstruct the supply or return air paths of room ventilating units. Turn off all classroom and computer lab computers at the end of each school day. Report any energy problems to administration.

Things to take care of before laptop pick up on 02/18/16 at 3:00 p.m.in the library:
- Label your laptop with name and room number. Use masking tape (easy removal with very little residue)
- Please put your name on the top over HP logo
- Back up your desktop information before you turn in your laptop
- In your weekly newsletter to parents please inform them you will not have a laptop on 02/19/16 and reading email will be difficult
- Ms. Walsh will send you an email with attachments to help with the process.
If you will be absent, please send your laptop early. If the HP protection tool is not removed, your laptop will eventually be disabled. If the technicians are not able to work on your laptop, you will have to put in a work order for the removal and that can take up to 3 days or so. We do not have temporary replacement laptops.
The new library motor lab will be closed on 02/19/16.
The pickup of laptops will happen between 3:00 – 4:45 p.m. on 02/18/16 in the library. Mrs. Walsh and Mrs. Chavez will hold firm with the time frame.
Fix My Skype!
I know that many of us are frustrated that since returning in January and we were directed to change our passwords, Skype has been ignoring the request to keep us signed in. Believe it or not, I found information on the intranet for a FIX!
Skype keeps asking for password or will not connect. Click here for the fix. Posted 02/01
