Looking Ahead
Math
Identify the division statement that represents a fraction, with models and in context.
Determine common multiples and factors, including least common multiple and greatest common factor.
Language Arts
Expand vocabulary.
Use knowledge of roots, affixes, synonyms, antonyms, and homophones.
Use reference materials, including the glossary, dictionary, and thesaurus.
Science and Social Studies
Study the contributions of George Washington, James Madison, George Mason, and Thomas Jefferson.
Identify the main ideas of the Virginia Declaration of Rights and the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom.
Explain the influence of geography and technological advances on the migration of Virginias into other states and western territories in the first half of the 1800s.
