Congratulations Lauren

Congratulations to Lauren Ford for her selection to the Swim Across America Junior Advisory Board. Lauren will be leading the Druid Hills community to Make Waves Against Cancer at next September’s Open Water Swim.

Twenty students from ten private and public high schools were nominated by their swim coaches and will represent their high schools as ambassadors of Swim Across, America which has raised over $60 million dollars for Cancer Research through swim-related events from Coast to Coast.

Lauren Ford is flanked by Junior Board Advisors (l to r) Dr. Julie Granger and 3X Olympic Gold Medalist Amanda Weir.

Congratulations Keaghan and Airian

Congratulations to Keaghan Peppers and Airian Riddick for placing 5th in the state in their respective disciplines (200m and discus). Airian set a school record at last week's State Championships in Albany.

Good luck to the boys track team, competing this week in their State Championships in Jefferson, GA.

Sad News

Both Coach Adams (L. Richard Adams) and Ms. Brown (Dr. Edward Brown) lost their fathers over the past week. Please keep their families in your thoughts and prayers. Ms. Brown's card is already available in the Main Office. We will have a card for Coach Adams available tomorrow.

2015 CCRPI

Congratulations to DCSD for the noteworthy growth in CCPRI scores.

Druid Hills High School received a score of 77, which is above the DCSD & GA average and over a thirteen-point increase from 2014 CCRPI scores. We'll share how we fared comparative to other scores during Wednesday's Faculty Meeting.

Please see this link for more information on CCRPI and how to access DHHS' Report Card.
