Teacher Spotlight - Renee Crook
"Technology in the classroom is an extremely important tool for me and my students. Daily my students type their journal responses in Google Classroom, solve math problems in a game-based setting in applications like Front Row Ed, Prodigy, and learn about the importance of Digital Citizenship through e-mails, safe searching, and staying on sites that are right for them. In my class the students create videos, using the application WeVideo, in small groups to present information to their peers. My students love to participate in games on our interactive whiteboard in the classroom, as well. Technology is a very important aspect in my classroom that enhances my students' level of learning and engagement, and we always talk about how the technology (no matter what type it is) is a tool or a helper that can make things better." - RC
