GREEN ELEMENTARY WEEKLY UPDATE
December 2, 2022
When a student exceeds the allotted number of unexcused hours, the district is required by law to hold a meeting with the Parent/Guardian to create an intervention plan with the purpose of improving attendance. If attendance does not improve and the student continues to accumulate unexcused absences, the district is required to file a truancy complaint in the Wayne County Juvenile Court.

Were you ever in a holiday program at school? What was the best Christmas present you ever received as a child? What special treats do you associate with the holidays? These are just some of the questions Granny McBee will be asking at the 1st grade program! The 1st grade students will perform Granny McBee’s Christmas Eve on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 7 pm in the Green Local Schools Cafeteria. Granny – in her old age – printed this date incorrectly before. The program is NOT December 1st. It WILL BE December 12th at 7 pm. Students should arrive at 6:40 and wear pajamas for this story that takes place on Christmas Eve! Looking forward to sharing and making memories with our 1st grade families.
REMINDER: PLEASE LABEL YOUR STUDENTS COATS, SWEATSHIRTS, AND LUNCHBOXES. THERE ARE MANY NICE ITEMS IN OUR LOST & FOUND THAT ARE NEVER CLAIMED!
