CONCORD FIGHT SONG CHALLENGE
SENIOR REMINDERS
Decision Day is just around the corner for the class of 2021. Seniors, please check your email from Mrs. Otto. In the email is a survey that she needs to be filled out so she can plan for your Decision Day.
Senior & Baby photos were due Thursday, March 25th. Please get pictures turned in ASAP. Mrs. Osterhout will need wallet-size professional pictures sent digitally by email or USB. We would prefer the pose to be that of a traditional head and shoulders shot without props, words, or logos. Please inform the photography studio of these requirements.
For your Baby photo, a digital copy can be emailed to Mr. Couling (brian.couling@concordschools.net) or a physical image can be brought in to Mr. Couling to be scanned and uploaded.
MAIN STREET CLOSED - WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!
The high traffic places include the road behind the high school gym to board buses, the sidewalk from the middle school to the administrative building, and the students leaving the elementary school that walk across the parking lot to get to their parents. To help with traffic flow in the ES/MS, we have created a map and posted it below. Please do not drive in the center lane of the parking lot to let your student out of the car, pick them up, or pass traffic it is too dangerous. If you park and need to exit using the center lane of the parking lot, please be patient. If you are exiting a parking spot, please follow the flow of traffic to reduce congestion.
The added traffic also creates issues for the buses. They need to be able to run at certain times, so we need for the community to stop and let our buses move ahead. If the buses are forced to wait for the traffic to clear out, they are behind schedule. Please do not attempt to drive behind the elementary and middle schools at any time from 2:30 - 3:00. There will not be access to the softball field by car until after 3:00 pm.
We realize this is inconvenient, but for the safety of everyone, we need your help slowing down, being patient, and keeping your eyes open. We appreciate your help with this.
JACKSON COUNTY JOB FAIR
ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL SEL CORNER
This week our youngest Jackets wrapped up their focus on dependability and will be learning more about what it means to be courageous next week. Here's the definition we will be using:
Being courageous involves making good choices in the face of fear or obstacles; some people also call showing courage/being courageous 'bravery.' If you're courageous, it doesn't mean you don't have fear-- it means you don't let fear hold you back from exploring new opportunities, developing our skills, and doing what is right. Courage might look like starting a new school, trying a new activity that stretches your creativity, or learning new skills that take effort.
Middle School students will also continue their focus on, "I can make ethical and safe decisions," next week.
