Dear Rosemount Parents and Guardians,

Beginning Wednesday October 28th, teachers will be available in-person to offer additional support to a select number of students. This support will be in addition to the support and interventions already being provided throughout the week, including our current Wednesdays’ Zoom sessions.

What you can expect from this academic support session (Zoom or in-person)

Continued individual support to reinforce learning, personal connection, higher success rate, improved attitude, student engagement and SCHOOLOGY/TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT.

October 28th - BLUE

November 4th - NO Interventions (No School for Students)

November 11th - GOLD

November 18th - BLUE

November 25th - GOLD

December 2nd - BLUE

How Wednesdays will work:

Student Selection

  • Students who are failing or in need of additional academic support will be selected by their teacher to attend Wednesdays Academic Support Session in-person and/or Zoom.

  • Parents and guardians will receive a follow-up email solidifying their request. All requests must be submitted before the upcoming Monday at 8am.


  • The Principal’s Office will send communications to the parent/guardian and the student to attend the upcoming Wednesday Academic Support session.


  • The transportation schedule will be attached/linked in the communication students and parents/guardians receive on the Monday evening preceding the Wednesday attendance date. (If you ride a bus to school, transportation will be provided)


  • Upon entering the building each student will check in using their lunch pin or meal ID card. Then report to the Student Center for further information.


  • Lunch will be provided for all students from 11:30 - 11:50 a.m. in the Student Center for those that wish to eat.

Student Wednesdays In-Person

  • Students will follow the schedule (see below). Teachers will be in their assigned advisory room locations.

  • Students will be permitted to stay with a teacher for a longer period of time, if needed.

  • Students are dismissed the last two-minutes of each period.

Students Wednesday Zoom Sessions

This will be supported in multiple forms. Students are able to participate in all Wednesday Zoom sessions.

  • Focused Group Zoom sessions are scheduled by the TEACHER between 11:30 a.m. - 1:35 p.m. (See teacher for your Zoom link.)

  • Focused Individual Zooms may be scheduled by students/parents between 1:40 - 3:00 p.m. EVERY Wednesday.

  • Teachers may also request a student attend a Zoom Session.
