Hello Manning Parents,


I hope all of you had a great spring break! We are excited to welcome everyone back.


Here are some updates for you...


*The deadline to order a yearbook is April 3. Please call the school if you have any questions.


*Manning's new principal, Mr. Matt Hilbert, will be our special guest at the next Parent Partnership meeting on Tuesday, April 4 at 5 pm in the Manning LMC. All parents are welcome to attend.


*We have a job opening for a Clinic Aide at Manning. If you are interested, or know someone who might be interested, please call the school or apply online.

Big Congratulations to two of our Manning Students!

Olivia Foster and Reece Linebarger are NASA Hunch finalists! They are heading to Johnson Space Center to present their project in the National Final Review. Good Luck Oliva and Reece!

Career Day! April 18th.

Manning is so fortunate to have so many diverse families representing so many different careers and specialized skills. We are currently putting together a Career Day for April 18th for all of our students. The commitment would be for the day and a 20- 25 minute presentation in each period during the class. There will be two presenters per class period. We will provide lunch as well. Click here for more information on how to sign up

The Spring Dance is coming soon- Friday, April 7th!

Student Council needs some help from our amazing parent community in creating their theme of RED CARPET CASINO! If you're interested in helping build their vision (literally) please sign up to attend the StuCo meeting on March 16th after school!

They are also looking for a few parent volunteers to run and monitor the Casino Games in each classroom the night of the Spring Dance- Friday April 7th, 6-8pm.

Day Without Hate - 04/27

The purpose of wearing a Day without Hate, or white shirt, is to promote a sense of unity in our school. Unity that stands up against violence and bullying in schools. It is an opportunity for students across Colorado, and the nation, to take this incredibly positive day to their communities to say that they will not tolerate violence or prejudice, and they will reach out to their friends and acquaintances and say, “We’re all in this together.”

Spring Dance at Manning - 04/07

Volunteers Needed for Student Dance | Please help StuCo bring their vision to light a the Casino Night and dance on Friday, April 7. They have done the heavy-lifting with the idea creation and now need some extra hands to bring it together. Parent volunteers will be needed to run and monitor the casino games in each classroom the night of the Spring Dance- Friday April 7th, 6-8pm. Sign up to help!

Spring Silent Auction - 04/17 - 04/21

Spring Silent Auction | We heard the requests and we've come to deliver! From choosing your locker locations for next year to an opportunity to reserve seats for the 8th Grade Continuation ceremony, now is your last chance to purchase Manning Perks for your kids. All funds raised will go towards purchasing additional virtual reality (VR) headsets to augment your child's education at Manning. The school's ultimate goal is to have a set of VR headsets for every classroom. What are the advantages of VR in Education you ask? It has been known to increase memory power and knowledge retention, boost excitement and engagement in the classroom (anyone interested in visiting the International Space Station?), improve learning outcomes and focus student attention on the lesson. VR Headsets open up new opportunities and create accessibility for every student. The auction runs April 17-21, so get ready!

Mabel's Labels Fundraising Opportunity

Mabels Labels Fundraising Opportunity | Now that you have started to book those summer camps it’s the perfect time to shop for durable, personalized and waterproof labels for your kids’ stuff! Manning PTA is fundraising with Mabel’s Labels now through May 16. Go to campaigns.mabelslabels.com and search for Manning Middle School PTA. The school will receive a check monthly based on 20% of all sales attributed towards the campaign - Let’s get organized, Manning!
