"How to Apply for a Federal Job" Workshop
Are you interested in a FREE workshop on How to Apply for Federal Jobs?
Learn who gets referred to a selecting official for consideration and why. If you are submitting one resume for different jobs, Learn how to effectively compete for federal jobs from a seasoned Human Resources Specialist who has years of experience qualifying and disqualifying applicants. Learn of the different hiring authorities available to veterans and individuals with disabilities. The workshop is approximately one hour and a half hours long.
The workshop is free, courtesy of the Division of Workforce Development and Inclusion in the US Department of Labor.

New Internship Opportunities
2023 Harvest Internship
This includes but is not limited to vineyard maturity sampling, fruit processing, inoculations and additions, cap management, digging tanks, draining/pressing, barrel work, lab analysis, data entry, sanitation, bottling, and general winery upkeep.
Internships typically run from August-November but will depend on the growing season.
During the busiest part of harvest, interns can expect to work 6 days per week and flex between both production sites as needed.
The hourly pay rate will be $20-22 plus overtime and lunch is catered once a week during crush.

Are you eager to gain Human Resources experience in benefits administration? Are you interested in serving the public and curious about working at a public agency?
We are looking for a self-starter to who can support office duties, such as filing paper documents, speaking with active and retired employees, and accurately entering data into HRIS software.
This position is part-time and will average 20 hours per week on weekdays.
The duration is temporary, starting around April 2023 and ending in June 2023.

Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities National Internship Program
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is a nonprofit organization that advocates on behalf of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) representing more than 493 member institutions across the United States. The HACU National Internship Program places students in federal and corporate internships. USDA has partnered with the HACU for more than 24 years to provide over 2,700 college students with paid spring, summer, or fall internships at various USDA offices in Washington, D.C. as well as field offices. The program gives undergraduate and graduate students valuable professional experience in the federal sector. Students are recruited based on academic performance, leadership, and community service.
The USDA 1994 Tribal Scholars Program
The USDA 1994 Tribal Scholars Program seeks to increase the number of American Indian and Alaska Native students studying agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, and related disciplines.
The USDA 1994 Tribal Scholars Program combines classroom study with paid work experience that leads to employment at USDA. Through this program, USDA seeks to boost the number of students studying and graduating in food, agriculture, natural resources, and other related fields of study, and help build the pipeline of future agricultural scientists and professionals. The program also strengthens USDA partnerships with 1994 land-grant institutions.

$10M in Scholarship for Graphic Arts Students
The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is providing $10M in scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year.
$10 million is available for part-time and full-time students interested in an education and career in the graphic communications industry.
The 2023–2024 scholarship application period runs from November 1, 2022, to May 1, 2023.
VMA and PGSF’s goal is to attract individuals to the graphic communications industry and to inform them of the wide variety of career opportunities.
