Welcome to Clear Fork Middle School...
Here are the latest happenings in our school and our upcoming events. Please check back regularly for the most recent information.
A word from the Principal...
We are down to 3 days of distance education for the 2019-2020 school year! This has been a difficult year for students, parents, teachers, and staff. As an educator, I got into teaching because I loved working with children. I loved watching them light up as they learned a new concept and as they interacted with their peers. The distance education we have had to implement at the end of the year has made connecting with students much more challenging. I miss walking down the hall and hearing students share their middle school jokes. My favorite one was "Where does a bee go to the restroom? The BP station of course!" I miss hearing the roar of students talking and laughing at lunch. I miss walking into a classroom and seeing how excited a student is to show me what they are learning. I even missed ending my conversations with students with my catch phrase of " have a great day and make good choices."
Just like every other educator, I am looking forward next year. I cannot wait to see the students. I cannot wait to hear about their summer and I cannot wait to see how much they have grown since March. I hope every student knows how much they are missed!
And for my students, let me take one last opportunity to say...
I hope you have a great day and a great summer, and like always, make good choices!
Mrs. Klaus
A word from the Library...
We have started two book clubs during the pandemic. The 6th grade club will meet for the last time on Zoom Friday, May 15th at 1:30 pm. Mrs. Miller will have a link on Google Classroom. The 7th grade book met twice and we are hoping to transfer that into an 8th grade book club next year.
The library would like 7th grade students to turn in their library cards along with their library books on May 19th. The 8th grade students may keep their cards to use in high school next year. Mrs. Myers will be sending an email to all students that have library books reminding them to turn them in on May 19th.
Thank you!
