Welcome Father Patrick Magnor

A message from Father Patrick:

Dear parents,

When I was preparing for a new parish assignment, one of my requests was to be assigned to a parish with a school. When I received my new assignment back in the spring, I was excited to learn that Holy Trinity and St. Michael have a school!

At my last parish, I was very involved in the life of the school. I found great joy in visiting classrooms, spending time with students at recess (I am a four-square champion!), and seeing them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

As a Catholic priest, I have become an advocate for Catholic education because I have seen first hand the difference it makes in the life of our children. The "Catholic difference" in education can be found in the fact that we not only prepare our students for a future of success through a rigorous academic curriculum, but our ultimate aim is to open up our students' to a life lived in a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With a mind formed by strong academics and a heart set on fire with the love of the Lord, our children's future will be opened to a horizon that expands from this life into eternity.

In my role as pastor, I am here to not only support our school, but also to support you in your role as parents. As Catholics, we believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. The strong Catholic education your child receives at Holy Trinity School will only take lasting root if the Catholic faith is nourished and practiced at home. Please know that I am here to support you in your indispensable role.

I look forward to getting to know you.

See you at Mass on Sunday!

God Bless,

Fr. Patrick Magnor
