Film Camp: from script to screen
Creating short films in the virtual world
Produce original short films and tv shows
Learn how to produce films during the "new normal" of social distancing. Utilize video game backgrounds, Zoom features and other ideas to get the shots you want to make the film you envision. From ideation, to screenplay, to storyboard, to blocking, directing, shooting and editing, join industry professionals to create a short film, webisode or tv show and take your project from script to screen.
Thanks to Zoom, connect with professionals from Los Angeles and all over the world! Television actor and writer Charles Carpenter and Hollywood cinematographer Ski-ter Jones will lead this two month camp. Guest artists include Emmy award winning writer Ken Levine and on-camera acting coach Ellie Abrams.

Known as the "commercial king," Ski-ter has appeared in over 100 national commercial campaigns. He is also a director and cinematographer with much experience in the film industry.
Tuition - Pay what you can - we want you!
No matter what you sign up for, all programming is $275 per student for the summer. If you don’t have access to a laptop, no worries – we’ll loan you one. If your wallet is a bit too slender to make tuition, we still want you to participate! We won’t ever turn anyone for financial reasons. StoryArk is here to support your creative goals and aspirations

We empower student voices and equip young artists to succeed
StoryArk provides a variety of creative programming for youth, allowing them to tell their story through their chosen medium - whether that be a novel, poetry, film, song, podcast or anything else they can dream up. Student initiated and student led, each project is imagined, designed, and developed by youth. Professional authors, screenwriters, filmmakers, musicians, producers, directors and actors share their expertise and experience, helping students gain new skills in their craft and empowering them to become their best creative selves.
