Portfolio Preview - A Celebration of Student Work

Portfolios will be sent home within the next week to give you an opportunity to join your child for a guided tour of his/her student portfolio that you will discuss with his/her teacher at Portfolio Conferences. This is a special time for you and your child to share the work you find in this portfolio, to discuss your child's perceptions of th progress he/she made throughout the school year and to celebrate the accomplishments you see. Your child will also explain the use of rubrics and his/her own self-reflections during the preview.

With the portfolio, you will receive a reflection sheet for you and your child to complete. This information will help your child's teacher to prepare for the conference. Please check with your child's teacher for the return date of the portfolio.

Thank you for taking the time to celebrate the growth your child has made over the past year.
