It was a special week for the students in the POST Program. We enjoyed making Valentines Day cards for the Hearts for Hospice program that was organized by Student Government Grades 6-8. We also loved meeting their new classmates in term 3 Unified gym class. And, finally had a lot of fun celebrating Kylie’s 16th birthday.

The second annual Diversity Day was a huge success!! Here are a few photos of students participating in a few of the sessions.

Thank you to all of the 6th graders for your participation, enthusiasm, and genuine efforts that you put forth!!

For the last three weeks Carver students have done a fantastic job of representing us at trial in the Falmouth District Court against other schools in a civil rights case. It's a unique and demanding challenge each year that is open to all levels of skill and grades 9-12. They never fail to make an impact as capable, professional young adults.

The Multicultural Club met with Mrs. Genovese on Thursday, January 30th to talk about their backgrounds and create "I Am" poems. Students wrote "I Am" poems and then, transposed the verses onto leaves and petals of flowers. All the flowers will be compiled into a garden to illustrate the similarities and differences of the club's members. Thanks Mrs. Genovese!!
