8th-Graders @ Yosemite

Over 55 of our 8th-graders and nine adult chaperones will travel to Yosemite for a week of fun and learning in nature. Students will depart on Sunday, October 29 and students will return Friday, November 3.

If your student is going on this trip, please be sure to read your emails to get the most up-to-date information surrounding the trip's logistics.

Dance Tickets & Halloween Grams

  • Dance tickets are $5 and will be sold before school and during brunch time on the blacktop. Students will not receive physical tickets. Their names will be added to a list. Then, on the evening of the dance, their name will be crossed off of the list, and they will be given a wristband. We encourage students to bring their student IDs to the dance.
  • Student Council will be selling Halloween Candy Grams for $1. Students can buy candy grams for their friends. The grams will be delivered during 7th period on Halloween Day. Students need to know the 7th period of the person they are purchasing for.

Updates from Boys and Girls Club

Hello BGCP Families,

We want to remind everyone about our Attendance Policy: students are expected to attend a full day of the program every day. Our program runs until 5:50 p.m. each day. We provide a diverse set of options for students such as academic support, enrichments, chill time, and high school exposure. For them to experience these components, students need to attend the program.

We recognize that students also participate in other activities outside of our program. If your student is unable to attend, we ask that you communicate this information via email or text. You can also fill out our Accommodation Request Form if there is any specific day your child cannot attend. We do ask that if an accommodation is made, students attend three full days of the program. Here is the link for you to fill out and our contact information:
