Materials Exchange
During the week of June 15, Noyes will return students’ personal belongings and collect school-issued items (library books, classroom materials, technology devices, etc.) during a curbside exchange at Noyes. This will also allow us to bag up any yearbooks you have purchased or any books you’ve ordered during our online Spring Book Fair. Also, if there is something in the Lost and Found that has your child’s name on it, we will put it in their bag.
Here’s how the process will work:
Parents will sign up for an available slot on this Sign Up Genius. Be sure to list all of the names of your children on the Sign Up so we have their bags ready. Arrive at school during your assigned date and time only.
Please label everything you are returning with your child’s name and where it belongs. For example, “Suzy Snowflake, Mrs. Hanks’ classroom.” Please put a Post It note or piece of paper with this information inside the book or item being returned.
Post a piece of paper with the last name of your children in the passenger side window.
We ask that you put any items that you are returning to us in the trunk of your vehicle. A staff member will take it out of your trunk and we will put in your trunk any items belonging to your child(ren).
You must remain in your car. Our staff will be wearing masks and will remain socially distanced from each other and from you.
Please be sure to follow the directions provided as you arrive, including pulling your car up as far as you can to accommodate all the cars for that time slot.
Thank you for packing your patience. We will do our best to make this process as smooth and simple as possible, but we will have limited staff members due to the need to remain socially distanced. Thank you for understanding that this process may take a little time. After all, like so many things, we’ve never tried this before!
Summer Of Reading
The Goodnow Library invites all children from birth through rising 5th graders to imagine a new kind of Summer @ Goodnow. Due to COVID-19 and the need for social distancing, Summer Reading is now online! Instead of traditional in-person programming, the Goodnow Library will offer virtual and take-home activities to get children excited about reading! Please visit Summer @ Goodnow for further details. The library is looking forward to this new way of connecting and celebrating reading this summer!

Recognize Your Child’s Teacher with a SERF ACE Award!
Teacher Appreciation 2020 definitely has a different look this year! Teachers are working harder than ever in an unimaginable teaching environment. They are using their skills and quickly developing new ones as they strive to provide continued learning among their students. And, in the midst of navigating changes within their own families.
SERF remains committed to appreciating our educators whether they're in classrooms and school buildings or around kitchen tables and in home offices.
If you would like to recognize an educator, consider an ACE Award (Appreciation of Champions in E ducation Awards) accompanied with words of support, encouragement, and/or gratitude. When you give an ACE Award, your star educator will receive a certificate of honor and will be recognized on SERF's website. And each ACE Award has double impact - funds raised from ACE Awards go towards SERF grants for next year.
Over $31,000 has been awarded in grants this year, benefiting every student in Sudbury's schools. With each ACE Award, you are paying tribute to your child's teacher(s) while simultaneously supporting innovative and enriching educational programs.
Donations for ACE Awards are tax deductible and accepted all year. Questions? Email aceawards@serfsudbury.org.
Does supporting innovation and enrichment in Sudbury's schools excite you? Do you want to help Sudbury's educators have the resources needed to bring innovation and creativity into their classrooms? Have you been looking for a volunteer opportunity that celebrates and supports our outstanding public schools? Then you may be a great fit for SERF! The mission of the Sudbury Education Resource Fund is just that - granting educational funding to Sudbury's K-12 schools that promote innovation and enrichment. If this sounds like a fit for you, complete this Interest Form. For more information, check us out at www.SERFSudbury.org, and contact us at info@SERFSudbury.org.
