De Zavala Eagle Monthly
May 2022 Edition
Lego of the Past and Start Building Better!
The De Zavala Eagle Pledge
I am in charge of the choices I make.
I will treat others the way I would like to be treated.
I am safe, I am kind, I am accountable, I am a scholar.
Online registration is for all students –both new and returning – and is a “must” in order to be enrolled in the Fort Worth ISD.
The process for returning students is fast and should take from five to ten minutes. Using your student’s individual Snapcode, confirm the information you’ve previously supplied or update any new information. If you need your students Snapcode, you can access it though your student's report card. If you don't have access you can request it though the office or using Parent Portal or asking your student's teacher through Class Dojo.
Our goal for current students is 100% by May 23rd. If you have completed registration by the cutoff date your student will receive a free small Kona Ice! Our students love Kona Ice and we would appreciate your help and cooperation with registration so we can start next school year off right!

4th and 5th Grades musical performance
Fourth graders sang and played the recorder. Fifth graders sang and played the piano to the music from the Link Up Recorder Program.
Fourth grade started preparing for this concert back in November by learning to play Recorder and then learning the lyrics to the songs as well. Fifth grade sang these songs virtually last year so we added their piano skills to their previous knowledge. Since parents were not able to attend the Link Up field trip we wanted to bring the concert to you and perform some of the student favorites from the experience! We hope you were there and enjoyed the performance.
