Keynote Speaker
Ann Cunningham-Morris is an independent education consultant and a member of the ASCD Faculty. Most recently, she served as the director of professional development for ASCD. She has also been a district-level instructional administrator; director of professional learning; high school, middle school, and elementary administrator or teacher leader; classroom teacher; special education resource leader, and job development specialist in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, California, and Virginia.
During her 37-year career, Cunningham-Morris has also served as an adjunct professor for several universities and a consultant to many school systems throughout the world in the areas of curriculum development, designing effective professional learning programs, instructional leadership, principal leadership development, assessment literacy, instructional best practices, and supporting high academic achievement for diverse learners. She has contributed to interviews, as well as written articles and blogs on these topics for several professional publications, including ASCD Inservice, District Administration, Curriculum Administrator, and the Journal of Staff Development. She is also a coauthor of the ASCD book, The Principal Influence: A Framework for Developing Leadership Capacity in Principals (2016).
