Writer's Workshop - We continue to work on our personal narratives. We will be adding details, studying mentor text, and writing 'beautiful beginnings'!
Math - These may be the most amazing mathematicians I have ever had. This week we will focus on word problems and constructing mathematical arguments.
Social Studies - We continue our civics studies with how to be a good citizen and ways we can serve our community.

HOMEWORK - 2 things...
1) Please make an effort to read the provided leveled reader with your child and go over the discussion questions with your child. This activity will not take you very long but will greatly support your child's growth as a reader. In addition it is a resource, it provides questions that are modeled after the ones on your child's assessment.
2)PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE return these booklets. It is very time consuming to print and fold these. I have tried to save mine from the past few years.
