Blueberries: rich in anti-oxidants, fiber, vitamins A & E, riboflavin.
Flax Seed: rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins B, high in fiber.
Honey: vitamins B6, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid and certain amino acids,
Soy Milk: high in fiber, no cholesterol, vitamin B, high in omega-3.
Bananas: vitamin B6 & C, riboflavin, iron.
Fat Free yogurt: rich in calcium, vitamins A & C, much protein.
Food Groups Represented
The smoothie includes bananas and blueberries so it has the fruit group. The dairy group is there because of the soy milk and fat free yogurt. We have the grain group because of the flax seed we add. I would say that the honey we add would be considered discretionary calories.
