News From Ms. Kramer's 4th Grade Class

Valentine's Day

We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a party on Friday, February 12 from 2:15-2:45 PM. Students are encouraged to create a box to hold their valentines, or bring in a decorated paper bag. I will have paper bags at school if your student forgets or chooses not to make anything.

We currently have 22 students rostered in our classroom, so please be sure that if your student is bringing valentines that they bring enough for everyone in class. I will be sending home a roster with everyone's name on in the upcoming weeks.

If you are in need of valentines for your student, please email me as soon as possible so I can make necessary arrangements. I am more than happy to help out. :)

Growth and Development

This weekend your student is bringing home a letter detailing information about growth and development. As part of our fourth grade science standards, students will be learning basic information about their bodies. Working together as a team, it our responsibility to help develop positive, confident, and healthy attitudes towards growing up. This comes with building an accurate foundation about the body, creating a positive self-imagine. Growth and Development has been scheduled for Friday, February 26th from 1:30-2:30. Please see the letter home for additional information.

iStation

Please be sure your student is coming to school with a fully charged iPad. We use our devices everyday making it hard for students to complete daily, weekly, and ongoing work if their device dies. Students are more than welcome to bring their OWN charger to school on occasion, but the expectation is that they charge their device at home plugged into a working outlet. Students will know if their iPad is charging if they see an lighting bolt in the upper right corner of their device. If students need to use an outlet at school, they will be docked one Class Dojo point Thank you for helping your student mange their device.
