The Start To End
First at the San José, rocks collapsed and trapped 33 miners 2,000 feet underground. After that people from all around the world came to the site to help rescue them. Then after they drilled from the surface to the shelter they hoped they were in, the miners attached a bag with two letters in it. They get fresh supplies from the drill there on out. After 3 months they finally freed the miners and brought them to the surface. The picture shown below shows the drill thats hollow inside.

Timeline
To begin with the 33 miners incident happened August, 2010. Then on August 9, 300 people were gathered at the site to help. Later a drill cracked through the celling of the shelter, the miners tapped a bag to the drill and what the people on the surface found were two letters. In fact after that they started receiving fresh supplies. But most importantly after three months the miners were freed to the surface.
