Thanks to those of you who ordered Scholastic Books! We were able to get several new books through our library because of the points you helped us earn! As always, if you missed out on the book orders on paper, you can always go online to and order any books there using our code LB8YK.

March Madness: Read Like Crazy!

After Week 2 our total is 35,110 pages! WOW!

Because we passed our first goal, the students set another goal of 75,000 pages by the end of March! Way to go 3rd graders! Keep up the good work! 39,890 more to go to reach our goal!

What Are We Up To In Room 115?

We have picked our teams and collected data on them. This week we will be graphing our data to wrap up our data collection unit.

We will do a unit on fraction after that, using recipes to relate our math to real world situations.

March Madness is well under way! Please make sure your child fills out their log at home too! They can count any types of reading that they do.

In class we are finishing biographies and starting to think about what information we could collect to inform others about our March Madness school through writing.

New words this week! Our words will have the prefixes -ness, -ful, -less. The test will be Thursday, April 2nd for these words.
