SHISD Mid-Week Message
Weekly Superintendent's Message for Spring Hill ISD
Rain, Rain go away!
Wow, Spring Hill and the state of Texas have gotten a tremendous amount of rain and the forecast calls for even more. For those traveling to Liberty-Eylau please take caution and be safe. The forecast for tonight and Friday is for more rain. With the drop in temperatures, I encourage all students and community traveling to the game to dress warm and bring rain gear to stay dry. We want a big crowd to represent Spring Hill and our students, and we want you to return safely to the friendly confines of Panther Nation. Please be careful!

SHISD's Blue Brigade Receives all 1s for 17 Consecutive Years in UIL Marching Contest
The weather forced this week's marching contest indoors at Sulphur Springs High Schools. However, the Blue Brigade persevered receiving straight ones and advanced to the next round. Congratulations to Mr. Kiser and the Blue Brigade.
Panther Family Concerns
- Please continue to pray for Dotty, Gail Powell's granddaughter, as she battles leukemia. The latest report is that she is doing well. The family has asked to pray specifically that her levels will be up so she can take her chemotherapy. She is a trooper! Dotty just recently celebrated her 3rd birthday.
Kudos
- Thank you to Toby Pleasant for transporting one of our dads who rode his bike in the rain for several miles to be with his daughter at Donuts with Daughters at the intermediate ~ Dana Robertson

Intermediate Presents Donuts with Dudes and Donuts with Daughters
On the Intermediate campus, Donuts with Dudes and Donuts with Daughters was another success. Parents/Grandparents/Aunts/Uncles/Brothers/Sisters were able to enjoy a donut and juice with their student and saw how their day begins. Teachers also showed up bright and early to greet them in their classroom. They were invited to come and go anytime between 7:15AM and 8:00AM. A special thanks to the office staff and maintenance crew for setting up the event.
