UPDATES

  • We have a snack break in the mornings. Your child is more than welcome to bring a small snack from home to enjoy during this time. If you are able to send in snack donations, we truly appreciate it!
  • We are also currently in need of tissues, we appreciate all that you all do!

5th Grade Trip Details

WHEN: April 27, 2023 (Extended Day)

WHERE: Louisville Science Center Museum


We will depart from school right around 9:30am. When we arrive to the museum, we will have our lunch and then explore the exhibits until about 4:00pm. Afterwards, we will walk over to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner! We will depart from Louisville right around 5:30 and expect to return to Lexington around 7:00pm. Specific details & a permission slip should be coming home sometime this week in your child's take home folder.

MATH FACT & FRACTION FLUENCY PRACTICE

If your student is struggling with fact fluency or fractions, www.reflexmath.com is a great place for fluency practice. This website can be accessed on any computer. For your child's login information, please contact your child's teacher!

Whether your child wants to be an ambassador or artist, engineer or entrepreneur, scientist or surgeon, Fayette County Public Schools offers a pathway to their unlimited potential.


Families will have a chance to meet with participating students and staff to learn more about our programs and the application process.

The application window for ALL of these programs is January 7-22, 2023.
