Toolbox Skill of the week: Review of Tools
Monday, March 6
- All Special Education teachers and assistant principal out at a conference.
- Arrive to the lobby of the Food Bank by 3:10p.m. for the "Empty Bowl" project.
Tuesday, March 7
- All Special Education teachers and assistant principal out at a conference.
- Parent Teacher conferences begin at 3:15p.m. Dinner will be provided by the Food Bank for families in the cafeteria. Dinner will be provided by PTA for teachers in the library.
- No afterschool activities. Please inform families so that students will be picked up at the regular time.

- LiveSchool representative will visit during PLC team time (all grade levels). Bring an electronic device.

Parent Teacher Conference Checklist
- Four Square sheets. Share samples of student work.
- Review attendance and tardies of students with excessive absences and tardies. Provide attendance letters that were placed in your mailbox to the families.
- Review winter MAP, Reading Inventory and Math Inventory scores. Did the student reach their targeted winter goal? What is the students' targeted goal for the spring? Are they on track for the next grade level? Print parent letters to send home with families.
- Review the RSA plan written in the fall for all students on a RSA (purple folder). These students scored below the 40th percentile and are at risk of retention. Obtain a parent signature on the back that you have reviewed progress on the plan. THIS IS REQUIRED.
- Place chairs in the hallway with the Parent surveys in the seat for them to complete while they are waiting. Collect surveys from as many families as possible.
- Upper grades, inform parents of state testing dates
Additional Announcements
- The boards that are being placed outside of your classroom will be used for displaying data next year. You are free to use it for that purpose this year or continue using your current display.
- The building will be closed during the week of Spring Break. Mrs. Kirby will open the building on Sunday, March 12 from 11a.m. - 5p.m. and Monday, March 20th from 8a.m. - 3p.m.
