Christmas Spirit: Donations in the District

Thank you to everyone for their generosity to the many organizations below.

PBIS Program in High School Receives Donations

The "Be a Bulldog" Program in the high school received donations from Superior Credit Union, 4-D Imaging, Pro-forma, Biggby, and Lima Community Church.

Every quarter students are rewarded for displaying positive social behaviors. The first and 2nd quarter focused on Being Respectful.

Donation to Nursing Department

"Tis the season of giving and our nursing department at the elementary was being thought of.

At times, students may need a change of clothes for the occasional accidents or even spilled food at lunch. Kelly Mason RN, MSN Nursing Supervisor for Allen Oakwood Correctional Inst. and Mental Health Nursing Staff donated boys and girls underwear and $100 gift card for us to purchase clothing for the nursing department. We send our appreciation for this generous donation. Pictured: Lauren Smith, Elementary Nurse, Kelly Mason & Yvonne Dix, Nurses Secretary

Donations to local Community Center

The Christmas Concert last Tuesday of the 2nd grade students of Mrs. Novicki and 4th grade Girl's Ensemble was a wonderful show. A free will offering was collected, and $300 was raised for the Christian Corner Community Center. Pictured receiving the donation: Melissa Hance from the Christian Corner Community Center and students Taylor Shattuck, Jurzi Freels, Madelyn Thomas & Eli Parker.

Middle School Fundraisers to assist families during the holidays

Elida Spirit is Generosity! The middle school students and staff held fundraisers for several families in the district in need of help during the holidays. They collected over $1,800. Way to go, Middle School!

Elementary Fundraising

Including the money raised during Dime Wars, the elementary received $700 in cash and gift donations. They were able to provide for eight of our students families as well as a food donation to a family and a monetary donation to our Meals to Monday program!

Student Competition For a Good Cause

Students competed in the high school to see which class could collect the most canned food items. The students then built sculptures with the cans, and of course the more the better!

They will be delivering the donations to several area food banks next week.

Spirit Week in the High School

There was so much excitement for Christmas Break this week in the high school, for students and teachers alike. Take a look at some "Ugly Sweaters" seen roaming the halls on Tuesday. You can see a few more pictures on the school Facebook page.

High School Band entertains Holiday Shoppers

The High School Jazz Band was spreading holiday cheer as they performed at the Lima Mall Monday evening. Hear some of their festive music on the Elida Youtube channel.

Christmas Spirit & Fun

Elementary Assistant Principal Clark is always up for some fun!
