PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Parents,
Thank you for another great week with your children. We are all looking forward to the Spring so don’t forget to set those clocks forward this weekend. I want to give a special thanks to the many volunteers that help out each day within our school. As many of you know, we have varying needs and it takes all of us to help our children be successful. A special Thank You to our Book Fair Volunteers that helped us set up and maintain the fair all week long. I know we will have a great time with our International Night tonight, so thanks in advance for your attendance. Finally, please take some time to speak with your child about appropriate behavior at school. As the Spring time progresses along, schools often see a spike in inappropriate behavior. We need your help in maintaining a great school environment.
Yours in Service,
P. Barnes

To support student recycling efforts in the classroom and cafeteria, we are encouraging our students to enter the "Recycle Right" Activity Book Contest sponsored by the Department of Solid Waste Management of Frederick County. Students may enter an essay, activity page or black and white drawing showing/telling how to "Recycle Right".
Please have your student review the tips for better recycling before creating his/her entry.
