Words of Wisdom

Doing Good

Being good is commendable, but only when it is combined with doing good is it useful.
~ Unknown Author

What would you say if someone told you that there was something that could ease tension, reduce stress, make you happier and even help you live longer? Almost sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? Yet it is actually very simple. Doing good things for others is the answer. The recipient reaps from the good you have done, and your health benefits emotionally and physically. Encourage your students to give up a little of their time to be useful. They will soon see that the benefits of volunteering are many and the world is a better place for their actions. That's a commendable combination.

With something to think about . . .

New feature added to Google Classroom THIS WEEK.....Google released a new way to ask questions. You can now post multiple choice poll questions in your Google Classroom classrooms.

To post a poll in Google Classroom simply select the "add question" option in the lower-right corner of your Classroom screen, then select "multiple choice," and write your poll question. You can choose to let students see a summary of responses or you can hide the summary of responses.
