Save The Everglade Kite
Vital part of your Ecosystem
Everglade Kite or the Snail Kite
The Everglade kite is a bird of prey (raptor) that is endangered because of its restricted diet and the current water quality of the watersheds (Wetlands) in Florida. The Everglade Kite is found in the Everglade forest.
Ecologically if we did not have the Everglade kite the population of the apple snail would go out of control.
Economically the apple snail would eat crops causing the prices to rise.

Should it be taken.
with only seven species to choose from the everglade kite should not be on the top of your list. The Snail Kite is very pretty and fun to watch but it won't help human life at all.
