Academic Updates
Congrats to all our students who took an MCAS exam last year! Results went home to families.
Attention Sophomore and Junior Parents!
The Parent/Guardian Report for your child’s results on the 2018 MCAS tests was recently mailed home for your review.
For each test that your child took in spring 2018, the report shows your child’s achievement level-Advanced, Proficient, Needs Improvement, or Failing. In addition, each child receives a Student Growth Percentile (SGP) score. The SGP shows how your child’s progress compares to the progress of other students in the same grade statewide who earned similar MCAS scores in previous years.
The report also provides information regarding how your child’s performance compares to other students at Keefe and in Massachusetts; how your child performed in different reporting categories of the tests; and how your child did on individual test questions. If you have questions about your child’s performance or need assistance understanding the score report, please feel free to reach out to your child's school counselor.
