A Message from Dr. Stone
Hello,
The 5th Six Weeks has started off strong this week and we're glad to have everyone back after the long weekend.
Congratulations to Lauran DeForke, our Teacher of the Year, and Melanie Gumbert, our Paraprofessional of the Year! Coach DeForke and Ms. Gumbert are each an important part of our Timberwolf community and are examples of what makes WoodCreek such a great place! We thank them for all that they do for our students and school each day!
The PTA has an exciting event coming up - our first Food Trucks and a Movie Night! Come watch Jumanji in the WCJH backyard with your family and friends! See below for details.
Have a great week!
Regards,

AP Human Geography Summer Bridge Program
Students entering 9th grade in the fall of 2020 who have selected AP Human Geography during course selection are strongly encouraged to complete the Summer Bridge Program. The program consists of an online skills component and a face-to-face writing workshop. The program does not impact GPAs. To assist students in the program, AP Human Geography teachers will maintain summer office hours.
For more information visit https://tinyurl.com/APHumanSummer2020
What is it? The AP Human Geography Summer Bridge Program is an optional course that provides students with the background knowledge and skills to better access course content, and ultimately be more successful in the course and on the AP exam. A face-to-face writing workshop is part of the program to support writing in AP Human Geography. This is not a graded course that will impact a student’s GPA.
How long will the course take? The online portion of the Summer Bridge Program is designed to be completed within 2 weeks. Students have the option to complete either Session 1: June 8-19, 2020 OR Session 2: July 13-24, 2020 and will indicate their choice during registration. The writing workshop dates will be provided during registration.
What is the cost? This course is grant funded; there is no charge.
