We are off to a great start

It has been a great start to the school year. We are starting to settle into our routines and are enjoying every moment of being back in person with all of our friends! As a building we have taken some time to review and discuss what it means to be a true T.J. ALL Star.

A few notes on attendance:

If you student is out for any COVID related reasons, whether they are out for quarantine or are awaiting COVID testing results, students may be able to access work remotely or in paper form from their classroom teacher. If students complete work while out we can count them as remote present and the absences will not be held against them! It is crucial that we do our best to keep our students absences under 10% throughout the year.

Thank you for the fantastic turn out for our Curriculum Night. We had over 300 people stop by. It was so nice to see all of our families at the building.

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts below. There is a parent survey linked and we would love to hear from you!

Trunk or Treat

Thursday, Oct. 28th, 5:30pm

T.J. playground area

Bring the kids to show off their costumes. We will have treats, dancing and good times.

A few reminders:

  • As the weather starts to change we are noticing a large number of clothing items in the lost and found. Please consider labeling your students coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves and lunch boxes.
  • Doors are open at 7:40-7:50 to allow time for students to enter the building. At 7:50 doors close and students are then considered tardy.
  • Students must wear masks all day. The district will provide masks but many students like to bring their own in. Please consider labeling those as well!
