BUCCANEER BRAVOS
- BRAVO to THE OFFICE STAFF! We registered 97 kindergarten students on Wednesday - with a new system - that crashed at least twice! Our amazing office staff kept calm and carried on - and made sure that our families were welcomed! We will continue to register incoming students on Tuesday and Thursday mornings!
- HATS OFF TO OUR HEATHER KINDSCHY and MARYCATHERINE RINALDI for another amazing Book Fair! This year's Spring Book Fair brought in over $27,000 with over $7,000 coming back to directly benefit our Learning Commons! We are so grateful!
- WAY TO GO, ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE FOUNDATION TOUR ON FRIDAY! PE, Katie Vanderhave, Lauren Robinson, Meredith Rockwell & Allison McGraw, Missy Bain, Erica Oakhill, Stephanie Carey, Kiersten Hoeflinger, Kerrry Griffee, Sammy Jo Reyes, Carolyn Cooper, and Melissa Pumpian provided behind-the-scenes insight into the training and support our Foundation provides! Parents were beyond appreciative!
Principals of the Day
The answer is:
- During the Patron Drive, their parents donate to our Foundation. All students whose parents donate the requested amount are entered into a raffle. One student per grade level is chosen.
Our Principals of the Day did a great job taking over the school on Friday. They made GRAND Proclamations that will hopefully positively impact our entire school. Please make sure you fulfill these proclamations!
Max in Kindergarten: All K, 1, 2 students should have 1 hour of extra recess before the end of the school year! (This can be taken in large chunks or small chunks - 60 extra minutes before the last day of school).
Lindsey in First Grade: We will order Kona Ice for K, 1, & 2 on Field Day! (We had not planned on doing so, and our Principals brought it back!)
Nathan in Second Grade: All 3, 4, 5 students should have 1 hour of extra recess before the end of the school year! (This can be taken in large chunks or small chunks - 60 extra minutes before the last day of school).
Lisette in Third Grade: No homework for the entire month of April! Studying for tests is, of course okay, as is reading. BUT...no additional homework!
Ava in Fourth Grade: We will order Kona Ice for 3, 4, & 5 on Field Day! (We had not planned on doing so, and our Principals brought it back!)
Dylan in Fifth Grade: Jeans for all teachers for the month of April! No morning work in April for kids!
