Last week of Quarter 2

Friday is the last week of the 2nd marking period. Quarter 3 begins on January 31st. Students who are absent from school have the ability to view their core classes on google meet (livestream) video at the time the class normally meets. The purpose of the passive livestream is so students have the ability to keep up with the lessons and not fall behind due to illness or quarantine. RMS will be making the livestream available for the rest of January.

Morning Drop Off

Morning Drop Off

We ask that parents and guardians drive slowly through the parking lot at morning drop off. It helps the flow of traffic tremendously if cars can pull all the way up and not stop at the kiosk entryway. If you are in a rush, the road behind the school is traffic free (except on Wednesdays) and students may enter the building through any door. The building opens at 8:00AM for students who want to eat breakfast.

Club & Activity Information

Kaleidoscope Club

Kaleidoscope Club will meet Wednesday, January 26th after school with Ms. Assumma and Ms. Varekamp in Ms. Varekamp's room until 3:30pm.


Technology Club

Will meet afterschool in Ms. Varekamp's room on 2/2 and 2/16.


Yearbook

There will be a yearbook meeting for any sixth, seventh, or eighth-graders interested in yearbook club afterschool on Thursday, January 27th in B229. See Ms. Holliday with any questions.


NJHS

There will be a National Junior Honor Society Meeting on 1/25, afterschool, in D135. Questions see Mrs. Paredes.


Jazz Band

The Jazz Band rehearses every Wednesday after school in the band room, F157. See Mr. Rubinstein with any questions.


Home & Careers Club

Group B meets on 1/26 and Group A meets on 2/2. Meetings are from 2:45-3:45pm in Room A109. Any questions see Ms. Conklin or email conklin.m@beaconk12.org.


Art Club

Art club will be meeting February 2nd, 9th and 16th. Art club announcements will go through our google classroom.
