Please RSVP to lakeviewinfo@provo.edu by Monday May 7th.
We need you...
Have you been wondering about how you can be more connected at Lakeview?
The PTA is a great place to help out and feel more involved with the activities provided for our children. You absolutely have a voice at the local level! And it's a great forum to meet other parents and make new friends (it takes a village, right?).
We have some opportunities available for the next school year (2018-19) and would love to hear from you if you are willing to take on a roll chairing an event/program.
* Communications (getting the word out about PTA events, meetings, opportunities, etc.)
* Battle of the Books (organizing prizes, certificates; helping with preparation and battles)
* Red Ribbon Week (planning activities for drug prevention)
* T-shirt/Sweatshirt Ordering (this is pretty easy; maybe someone with graphics background could help)
* Yearbook (gathering/importing pictures, building pages for school yearbook; you don't need to be the one taking pictures throughout the year)
If you are interested in these or any other events, please email Brittany Fell at bbfell@gmail.com.
Kindness Club Volunteer Opportunity for next year
Our school proudly promotes and encourages students to be kind. The school's kindness club has sponsored several kindness activities this year that has helped add to our school's culture of kindness. Next year, we are looking for some individuals who would be willing to work with student leadership in growing and promoting the kindness club and its activities. There are several ways to help out as well as varying levels of time commitment. If you would like more information and are interested in this opportunity please contact us at christal@provo.edu or christopherb@provo.edu.
