Meioses
Meioses is a type of cell division which decrease the chromosome number by half. This process occurs in all sexually reproducing eukaryotes
The Process
meiosis is the process by which sperm cells and egg cells are produced
diploid
-Original cell is a diploid
-daughter cells contain half the number of chromosomes as original cell.
Haploid
-four daughter produce are haploid cells
-meiosis must reduce number of chromosomes by half then fertilization restores diploid number
