Mr. Jordan may be new to El Camino, but he's been making his way around VUSD at 11 schools the last 4 years, most recently at the middle school level as a Student Assistance Program (SAP) Counselor. A SAP Counselor is a school counselor who focuses on students' social and emotional needs through individual counseling, facilitating student groups, and assisting students and families with connections to mental health resources in the community.

Mr. Jordan will be working half of the week at El Camino as an academic counselor for students with last names Se-Z, and as a SAP Counselor for all students. Mr. Jordan will be across the street at FTHS working as a SAP Counselor as well, the other half of the week.

Mr. Jordan's schedule at ECHS is:

• Tuesdays/Wednesdays - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Fridays - 8:00 am - 11:30 am
