The Latest On All Things Lower Mills This Week
We collected over 2,000 cans and non-perishable food items! #PowerofCommunity
Over the past two weeks, we have been collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items as a school community to support Catholic Charities Friends Feeding Families Food Drive. The folks from Catholic Charities had tears in their eyes and were speechless. They said the food pantry had been almost all cleaned out and this would help to restock these much needed items during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Congratuations to Ms. Jones and her 3B scholars! They collected 392 items and will have a pizza party hosted by Catholic Charities before Christmas break. Great job to K2B who was a close second place with almost 350 items! As a Catholic School, we are blessed to be able to empower our students as leaders and embrace stewardship and giving back to others.
