REACH Relaunch

Today we celebrated 14 years of REACH at Inglewood Primary. We learnt about the history of our REACH programme over the past 14 years here at IPS, teams shared various skits around each of our REACH letters, sung songs and went outside to a celebration of bubbles and dancing. Thank you also to our fabulous Parent Link Team who served coffee and Tim Tam before our Assembly.

Intermediate / Senior Camp Thank You

The Senior and Intermediate Teams would like to extend an enormous and heartfelt thank you to the following sponsors of our recent camps to Creeklands and Te Wera.

  • Steph Lye at Maple Park Orchard - for supplying both camps with 2 boxes of the freshest and yummiest apples on earth.

  • Goble Contracting for their $150 donation.

  • Pearse Farm Ltd (Brian and Debbie Pearse) for their $150 donation.

  • Pak n Save for their discounted chicken drumsticks.

Sports Information

Town v Country Swimming: The annual event is being held this Friday 6 April at the Stratford Town Pool. The first race is scheduled for 11.15am. All students will be expected to be at school in the morning, we will depart by cars at 10.15am. All students who have paid the transport fee will be credited to their accounts.

Netball: This year Inglewood Primary School Netball will continue to be a part of the Inglewood Satellite. To ensure there are enough teams to continue this competition there may be a need for some 'country' students to join our Inglewood Primary School teams.

This Sunday there is a muster for all year 1-6 netball players at the Trimble courts here in Inglewood (opposite the Town Pool) beginning at 10am to 12noon. It is important that all parents/ caregivers that would like to assist in coaching are present at this session.

Year 5/6 Interschool Competition: This competition kicks off early term 2 and we would love anyone who is able to help coach our teams offer their services. We'll have a netball, football and rugby team. The team have organised practice sessions on a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm.

If you are to help out with coaching these teams please email the Year 5/6 team leader.

All games will begin Monday Week 1 Term 2 30 April and finish the end of August and will be played at the Stratford Turf. If your child is keen to play, please collect a permission form from the school office.
