Summer Laptop Updates!
Here's what we need from our users...
This summer will be a little different...
Your Friendly-Neighborhood Instructional Technician is back to inform you about our newest method for performing the summer maintenance on your staff/teacher devices (this does not apply to student laptops).
In the past, we have collected all the devices and then returned them as we completed updates and scheduled work to keep everything in tip-top shape for each school year.

This has always been (at least) a little burdensome and took the devices out of hands, causing need for special scheduling, sometimes, as employees would occasionally still need their work laptops and similar equipment during the summer months.
Instead, this year, you get to keep them!
AS LONG AS YOU...
Follow this simple set of prescribed actions...
- Power on your device at least once a week for about 2 hours or more
- ... actually, that's it! (As long as it is definitely connecting to a network with internet access, for certain!)
Over the course of the summer, the device should receive all necessary updates and upgrades and software to be ready for the first day of school.
