Next meeting at the Red Lobster will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018. This is the SECOND TUESDAY of the month as the first Tuesday is the day after Labor Day. NO Board meeting. Social hour at 7pm, Regular meeting at 7:30pm. We will be located in the small dining room.
SPECIALTY SHOW JUDGES
Do you have a recommendation for a judge to judge one of our upcoming concurrent specialties? Or someone working on their judging license to judge Sweepstakes? We plan (pending AKC approval) to hold our 2019 concurrent specialties in AUGUST 2019 with the Conyers KC. This is just for 2019, as in 2020 we will be reverting back to our regular February dates. If you know of an all rounder judge that is cavalier friendly, please email or contact club president Paula Ayers with your suggestions.
Administer Prunes or Canned Pumpkin for Digestion
In older animals, digestion can get a bit bumpy. If your pet is more mellow than usual, seems to be straining, and makes frequent toilet attempts, constipation may be the problem. Adding canned pumpkin or diced prunes to food could get things started again.
For a sever case, try mixing in a tablespoon of Milk of Magnesia. Note: Prune pits are toxic to both animals and humans, so make sure they are pit-free.
