Dear Families,

Thank you for our first full week of school! You have worked hard! Know that your teachers are enjoying connecting with you, creating relationships individually, as small groups and as a whole group. Teachers are learning what each of their students know to help differentiate as we move forward this school year. Fridays your class will be reviewing content, making connections and completing any unfinished school work.

Wednesday, September 23 is our first full day PLC Day as a staff. Our K-5 distance learning students will be provided with lessons in SeeSaw and/or Google Classroom. Those tasks need to be completed (or at least attempted), and something needs to be turned in for our daily attendance. The teachers will be doing attendance at about 10:30 on Wednesday to ensure all students have logged on and turned in one thing. In addition, please know that on these distance learning days, extra reading minutes and math practice are great ways to keep up your skills.

Wednesday, September 23 will also be our next pick up day for materials at your home schools between 8:00-3:00. Please see the table outside the office. There is a checklist to ensure you pick up the appropriate materials for the grade level of your student/s.

Fire Safety

Please look over the fire safety tips for your family! As part of your distance learning day on Sept. 23, please go over #3 - Have a family fire escape plan and practice the plan twice a year. Please share your plan with your teacher.
