Summer Reading

McCall Library-May 2023

Plano Public Library Announcements:

Summer is the perfect time to explore the Plano Public Library and discover your world! Sign up for a library card (free for Plano residents) to check out items and use the computers. Programs are free and open to anyone, no library card needed. See our full schedule on the library’s website. Here are some highlights:

Celebrate the City of Plano’s 150th Birthday or sesquicentennial with Plano Public Library this summer. Play our Candle Quest board game, make a reading goal and attend kickoff parties. Don’t miss our special Plano 150th programs to learn about the history of Plano and what our City will look like in the future.

  • Pick up a Candle Quest game board at Summer Kickoff or, at the Library starting June 3
  • Complete activities and read books to earn stamps and candles
  • Help the Library celebrate Plano’s 150th Birthday by adding your candles to cakes in our Spark Spaces
  • Play again. See how many times you can earn 150 points!
  • Bring your completed Candle Quest game board to the Library from July 22 - August 31 and pick up a prize (1 per person, while supplies last)
