Kudos to Kara Weir
Kudos to Kara Weir for ALWAYS having patience with challenging students.
Kudos to Kara Weir for her incomparable commitment to the students she works with each day. Kara is one of the most devoted educators I have had the privilege of calling my coworker. Her efforts to serve the diverse (often difficult) group she has are tireless; she appears to work around the clock (I literally have no idea when she sleeps). Kara is one of those educators who is continually thinking of how she can reach her students, in the most effective ways. She has a true servant's heart, always putting the needs of others before her own, and serving with a very genuine, pure motivation. I'm not sure if Kara's brain ever turns off, with regard to improving her own practices; she embodies a true lifelong learner. In this same respect, I deeply appreciate the pieces I've learned from working with her the past couple of years. She is a wealth of knowledge, and I so enjoy everything I can soak up from her! Kara is one of those people you're just lucky to know and be in the presence of. She's a brilliant leader with a continually positive energy and endlessly optimistic outlook (it's actually almost annoying how she just punches negativity and defeat right square in the metaphorical mouth). Her automatic humble nature coupled with her motivational and supportive demeanor make Kara idea for the challenging position she's taken on. She is so passionate about her job, and this comes through in every single last piece of work she does. Kara is an endless list of positive qualities and characteristics that make an ideal coworker, employee, teacher, mentor, and human. I cannot express how deeply appreciative I am for how she has supported my role, and for all she does for our school and students. I genuinely believe she is 100% irreplaceable, and an essential asset to our school community. In conclusion... I just wish Kara was my mom.
