Staying Connected

October 25, 2020

If your child will be absent from school, please call the school office at 569-6598 to report your child's absence.

Change in Celebration

As a district, creating a welcoming and inclusive community is very important. Halloween is a fun tradition for many families, but certainly not a holiday celebrated by everyone in our community for various reasons. We certainly do not want to exclude students from participating in school or be left feeling our schools are unwelcoming. Therefore, the wearing of costumes and parading through the school will no longer continue.

Spirit Week

Monday, November 9 Super Hero /Character Day

Teachers, students and parents have all been superheroes during this pandemic. Let's have fun dressing up as one! Dressing up as a character in books or movie is another idea too!

Tuesday, November 10 Red, White and Blue Day

Let's honor our veterans by wearing red, white and blue!

Wednesday, November 11 Veterans Day (No School)

Thursday, November 12 Hat Day

Wear your favorite hat!

Friday, November 13 Business on Top, Comfy on the Bottom

In the spirit of zooming, dress up on top and wear something that doesn't go with it on the bottom!

(Example: Dress up shirt with pajama bottoms and a tutu )

We'll be taking pictures in school and would love to have our remote learners and parents to participate from home. Send us your pictures! Email pictures to
