NEWS FROM DR. CHAUSSEE

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Paving on the west side of 156th Street will resume as early as late next week or the following week. Message boards will be posted along 156th indicating there will be a closure happening during the paving operation between Blondo and Cuming and between Cuming and Pepperwood. For either paving sequence, the city will not close the intersection of Burt/Cuming and traffic and pedestrians will be able to cross between the neighborhood and the school. A flagger will be at the intersection during the paving operation to control construction traffic across the intersection. They will not be closing 156th Street until after 9:00 am and will re-open it as soon as they are paved to the target stopping point. It is possible that it will take two consecutive days to get from Blondo to Cuming (same for Cuming to Pepperwood).
