If your student has failed a class and needs to retake it to graduate please sign up in guidance or email us after winter break. We are halfway to the end. Think of January as a restart button on learning. Take time to relax with your friends and family over break and come back strong.
AREA 31: Any student that is currently in 10th or 11th grade wanting to apply for Area 31 please use the following link to apply.
Students that are accepted to the program will find out at the end of March.

Winter Weather: Winter weather is upon us. As we have experienced, Indiana weather can be very unpredictable. During the winter months you may be
hearing of school delays or closings and wonder a time or two how
those decisions are made. It is rarely an easy decision and one that
involves talking with a number of agencies and local road officials.
You can get the most up-to-date information on Twitter
(@nwhsc1), Facebook, or any of the local media outlets. It is
important that parents keep their contact information updated
in Harmony to receive phone calls and emails in a timely
manner. Decisions are made as early as possible and usually
before 5:00 AM.
With our transportation routes and bus stops, it will be very
important to make sure your children have warm coats,
gloves, hats, and scarves as they walk to and from the bus
stop and while they wait for their bus. Parents should provide
safe shelter for their children while waiting for the bus when
conditions outside are bad. See below for Snow day E-Learning Schedule.
Notes from the Nurse:
Welcome cold weather, which inevitably brings sickness. Please keep in mind the following when deciding whether or not to send your student to school:
Students cannot attend school if they are running a fever or having diarrhea and/or vomiting due to illness.
Students must be fever-free for 24 hours WITHOUT medication (Tylenol, Advil, Motrin, etc.) prior to returning to school.
Students must be vomit-free and/or diarrhea-free for 24 hours prior to returning to school.
Attendance: If your student attends an appointment, don’t forget to ask for a school excuse so your student can turn it in to Mrs. Gibbs to certify their absence.
JOB BOARD - If you are looking for employees, we do have a student jobs board. Please send your employment openings to Mrs. Dickerson. dickersonch@hendricks.k12.in.us.
Math Text book adoption open house for parents will be held January 12th, from 4 pm to 6:00 pm in the TWHS Library.
Call the attendance line (317-994-4000, option 1) to report absences from school, late arrivals to school, and early departures from school.
Please see the attached flyer on flu shots.
