Campus Mission

The mission of Giesinger Elementary is to ensure high levels of learning to facilitate continuous growth of the whole child.

Giesinger Family,

What a great start to our year. It was so good to see our returning and new families.


Thank you for your help by following our arrival and dismissal procedures. Many families were able to use our additional parking at the Church of Christ and it really helped ensure a safe dismissal for our community, especially our walker community.


Beginning Monday, August 15th, we ask that you send your student to class on their own in the morning. We have our fantastic staff ready to get them to class in the hallways and front office. Thank you for understanding and your support as we fall into our morning routine.


Lunch visitors begin Thursday, August 25th. Due to limited seating, a sign-up will be available so we can accommodate our families. Our students will continue to practice procedures for a safe, inviting lunchroom until that date. We practice common language throughout the year in our common areas, including the lunchroom. Ask your child what N.E.S.T. means (check out the picture below to see if they're right.)

Safety Drill Week

This week is safety drill week for our campus.


Just like we practice walking in the halls, washing our hands before lunch, and following our safety rules on the playground, our school practices safety drills to know what to do should an emergency arise. Our students practice monthly fire drills as well as Lockdown, Lockout, Evacuate, and Shelter drills.


The safety and welfare of our students and staff are our highest priority.

Prioritizing Safety

Providing a safe learning environment is at the forefront of everyone’s mind. In addition to the many measures already in place such as secure vestibules and security cameras, you will notice some enhancements with the day-to-day operations. This year, all doors are required to be locked at all times. During times when students are changing classes or when large events are scheduled, doors will be actively monitored by staff. All staff and visitors must wear a visible badge at all times, with visitors’ badges including a time and date stamp. We will also be addressing additional requirements from the State and monitoring updates to the best practices we already follow. Safety is our ultimate responsibility and takes all of us working together.

Viewing Campus Accountability Ratings

Starting on August 15th, you will be able to view the Texas Education Agency rating for our school, plus much more, by visiting TXschools.gov. You will also be able to search for schools using your address and compare our school to others. To learn more about Giesinger Elementary, your child’s STAAR performance, and how to use this information, please visit TXschools.gov. We’re excited about the start of another great year!

A Note from CISD Transportation

If your child is eligible to receive transportation services and will be riding the school bus, please have them at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before the designated stop time. School bus stop times can now be viewed on the Conroe ISD Transportation website. Once on that page, scroll down, find the "What Bus Do I Ride?" link, and follow the instructions. Bus stops are subject to change.


Please review your child's bus route information prior to the first day of school.

Our PTO works hard to give parents and teachers the opportunity to work together to supplement and enrich our students educational experience.
